Coach Alberto is our Junior performance specialist He is in charge of our All Star and BHTC Core programs. He is a polyglot that speaks 4 languages English, Spanish, Russian and Italian, he is one of the most enthusiastic coaches and is recognized in several magazines and articles for his contributions to tennis. He has been mentioned in the Asbury Park press in 2014 for his programs in 10 and under tennis as well as USTA newsletters and magazines for his contributions to youth tennis in 2019.

His competitive tennis career began in high school as a freshman. He was a multi sport standout in mixed martial arts, baseball, football, basketball and volleyball before picking up tennis. He was also a 5 star recruit in baseball and football before picking up a racket at 14 years of age. He became #1 singles by the end of his freshman year and was a 2 year varsity team captain. He played division 1 college tennis for 1 year and had an undefeated doubles record. He then went on to play football to finish out his college career. It was then that he began professionally teaching tennis to people of all ages.

 

Alberto is also BHTC's tournament coordinator. He runs USTA and UTR events monthly. He holds certifications in the following:

2. PTR 10 & Under Professional level

3. USTA 10 & Under Specialist

4. USTA 10 & Under Certified

 

He is also an ambassador for UTR and USTA Net Generation
