Coach Omar was born in Sogamoso, Colombia in August, 1993. He comes from a family of tennis players - his father plays tennis since he was a kid and his brother is a former professional tennis player. Coach Omar started playing tennis since he was five years old and it became a lifestyle for him. He reached top 5 in the Colombian national raking in 12 and under, 14 and under, 16 and under and he ended the year ranked #2 in 18 and under. Omar played several ITF futures in many countries and a couple of challengers in Colombia. Coach Omar got his Business Administration and Management Bachelor's degree from Belhaven University in Jackson, Mississippi. During 2018-2019, he was part of the Colombian Davis cup team as a hitting partner. He was part of Daniel Galan's coaching team ( current #120 ATP) as well as Santiago Giraldo's ( former #28 ATP ). Currently, He is an active player and will continue competing in professional tournaments in the upcoming years.
