Coach Steven was born in Long Branch, NJ. Growing up he played many sports competitively, until he decided to stick with Tennis after watching Roger Federer play. He became a NJCAA National Runner Up for Brookdale Community College and got his Business Administration Degree from Pace University. After graduating he decided to pursue coaching tennis full time. He holds PTR Performance. PTR Adult Certifications in teaching as well as RPT Sanchez Casal Coaching (European Tennis Registry).

In 2017 after working a few years with top ranked juniors in the Eastern Region Coach Steven took his coaching to Spain where he learned the Spanish System of teaching at Sanchez Casal Academy and JC Ferrero Equelite Sport Academy that has helped develop Andy Murray, Grigor Dimitrov, Svetlana Kuznetsova and many top players in the world. There he worked along with many coaches who developed many top ranked professionals in the ATP & WTA Tour. He has worked with International Collegiate players, as well as ITF Junior Players.
